Brenda Yi holds Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and General Securities Representative (Series 7) license. As a valuation controller at RBC Capital Markets, Brenda is responsible for performing independent valuation analyses across the full spectrum of financial instruments within RBC’s inventory. From plain vanilla bonds to the complex structured derivative transactions, Brenda is experienced in covering many asset classes including Corp Credits, CDS, Repos and other fixed income products.

Prior to RBC, Brenda spent seven years with UBS Investment Bank since 2007, where she was an Associate Director for Valuations, responsible for IPV valuation analyses, specializing in CLO, CDO and other mortgage exposure structured products. Brenda also works as an internal auditor for E*TRADE and an external auditor at KPMG.

Outside the professional environment, Benda sits on the committee board of the Annual Benefit Gala for New Asia Chamber Music Society. She enjoys zumba, skiing, travelling and going on expeditions.

Brenda holds a MBA Degree in Finance from Baruch College and a Bachelor Degree in Accounting from National Taipei University.
