Born and raised in Taipei, Peggy immigrated to and resided in New York at the age of 12 with family. Peggy graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management from New York Institute of Technology. Upon graduating, Peggy held a position as Executive Office Coordinator at InterContinental New York Barclay. During COVID, Peggy stumbled across the field of interpretation and received a certification in healthcare interpretation (CCHI) for Mandarin and English.
Currently, Peggy works as Patient Services Facilitator at NewYork-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital, focusing on assisting patients, supporting nursing staff, and bridging language barriers for Mandarin speaking patients and English speaking providers. Other than professional background, Peggy also enjoys her free time teaching violin and piano to young kids nurturing the next generation of musicians. Peggy also serves as a Board member of TJCCNA and Supervisor of WTCCJC.
Peggy is currently pursuing her Master's in Healthcare Administration at George Washington University.
